Twilight Star Nikki Reed Kisses and Tells

Gillette is conducting a social experiment to settle the debate over what's more kissable -- stubble or shaven -- and the conversation is drawing attention from celebrities like Twilight star Nikki Reed.

PICS: Hottest Bachelors

For Nikki, who is married to bearded rocker Paul McDonald, the guy should commit one way or the other.

"I like to go for either totally clean shaven or a real full-on beard," said Nikki, who helped launched Gillette's Kiss & Tell tour in New York City. "I think stubble kind of kills the kiss."

Singer Keri Hilson, who joined the tour in Los Angeles, had a different take: "I think we're going to find that most women today prefer a smoothly shaven face."

Buzzmakers: SAG Winners Pics and Nicole Kidman Explains Jimmy Kimmel Lap Dance

What had ET readers buzzing this week?

1. PICS: SAG Winners with their Statues!

Some of Hollywood's biggest stars gathered Sunday night to honor acting achievements at the 2013 Screen Actors Guild Awards. Anne Hathaway -- winner of the award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role for Les Misérables -- kicks off our gallery of the stars accepting their handsome statuettes!

2. Nicole Kidman on Her Lap Dance for Jimmy Kimmel

Nicole Kidman raised eyebrows during Matt Damon's Jimmy Kimmel Live! takeover when she greeted Kimmel -- who was strapped to a chair -- with a lap dance. On the SAG Awards red carpet, the Oscar winner explained the move to Nancy O'Dell.

Kidman described the dance as "impromptu," saying that she was just following the lead of another one of the night's guests.

"Robin Williams had done it before, so I thought, 'Well, why not?'" Kidman explained.

For years Kimmel has had a running joke where he ends every episode by apologizing to Matt Damon for running out of time for him. On last week's special episode of the late-night show -- nine years in the making -- Damon recruited some friends (which included Andy Garcia, Sheryl Crow, Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez, Robert DeNiro, Sarah Silverman, Demi Moore and Oprah Winfrey.

3. Top-Earning 'American Idol' Alums

4. Jennifer Lawrence Suffers Wardrobe Malfunction

It seemed like disaster for Jennifer Lawrence when her dress came apart just as she was called up to accept the award for Best Actress during the 2013 SAG Awards.

The Silver Linings Playbook star's apparent wardrobe malfunction caught the eye of both Marion Cotillard and Nicole Kidman, whose reaction to the getup coming apart at the seams was caught on camera. No disaster, here, though -- it turns out the dress was designed that way! A source close to designer Dior told ET that the dress did not rip -- that it was made with different layers of tulle and satin.

This minor outfit hitch comes after it was announced that Lawrence, 22, has walking pneumonia, making this one of the best and worst weeks for the award-winning actress.

5. Kris Jenner Lands Talk Show

Are you ready for a daily dose of Kris Jenner?

The TV personality will test the talk show waters this summer when Fox premieres a preview episode of Kris, a one-hour entertainment talk show. "This is something I have wanted to do all my life so it's definitely a dream come true," Jenner said in a statement! "I can't wait for this new adventure to begin and look forward to working alongside Twentieth Television and the Fox Television Stations."

Kris will be rolled out in a similar fashion to how Bethenny Frankel's talk show was last summer, with the network testing the waters to see if there's an audience appetite for more of this famous family. According to a press release, the show will "offer daytime viewers a daily jolt of celebrity guests, fashion & beauty trends; plus a mix of lifestyle topics -- all through the distinctive and unpredictable perspective of Kris Jenner. Filmed in Los Angeles, CA, the pop culture driven talk show will bring a cool blast of fun and high energy to summer television."

The trial run of Kris will launch this summer, with the program available on select Fox-owned stations in markets, including New York and Los Angeles.

TVs Most Social Shows

For years, TV networks have asserted that Nielsen ratings are an inaccurate way to determine a show's popularity. Their case hold more water now that a significant percent of audiences time-shift their viewing (via DVR or online streaming services like iTunes or Hulu). As a side-effect of that, many networks have combated dwindling ratings by trumpeting their social metrics and declaring themselves The Most Social Show of a given night.

But what does being "a social show" really mean and how is that data collected?

One way is through a service like Trendrr.tv -- a 6-year-old company that pulls from Twitter, Facebook, Get Glue and Viggle to deduce which shows are generating the most online conversation.

SPOILERS - TV's Most Devastating Deaths

Topping Trendrr.tv's list of 2012's Most Social Shows is SpongeBob Squarepants, a program I assumed skewed too young to rank so high socially, but as Trendrr spokesperson Meghann Elrhoul explained to me, "A lot of it has to do with the fact it's running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There are so many more opportunities to see the show since it airs at least three or four times a day, versus The X Factor, which airs once a week."

Interestingly Simon Cowell's competition show came in second on Trendrr.tv's 2012 list, ranking above The Voice and American Idol, despite drawing significantly lower Nielsen ratings.

RELATED - Keegan Allen Previews PLL Problems

But finding a spin-able silver lining isn't the only reason networks have begun boasting about their Social status; there are countless examples of a show's online endeavors actually helping to goose ratings.

"Younger skewing shows do well on social, but Hawaii 5-0, which has an older median age, recently did a really good job with their Choose Your Own Ending contest," Elrhoul says. "They increased their ratings and their social by about 35 percent from the premiere."

On the flipside, you have ABC Family's Pretty Little Liars, which roughly averages 2.5 million viewers a week, mostly in the coveted 18-34 demo, and ranked #4 on Trendrr.tv's list of 2012's Most Social Shows. It consistently dominates Tuesday night traffic (a recent episode accounted for over 25 percent of all TV-related conversation online) with much of the credit being attributed to the fact every PLL star maintains a highly visible Twitter presence. Lucy Hale, Shay Mitchell, Ashley Benson, Keegan Allen and Troian Bellisario can often be found live Tweet episodes and constantly engaging with the very vocal fanbase.

RELATED - What's Next For The Vampire Diaries?

That clear correlation is leading other networks to ask their stars increase their social media presence and periodically participate in online "chat parties." In advance of the January 24 episode of The Vampire Diaries, The CW threw a weeklong #TVDParty that culminated in show stars Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley, Ian Somerhalder, Kat Graham, Zach Roerig and Claire Holt joining EP Julie Plec in live tweeting during the episode. This turned #TVD into TV's Most Social Series of the Week, with 865,000 social interactions across the monitored platforms; knocking American Idol, The Simpsons, Family Guy and Glee down Trendrr.tv's list.

Elrhoul adds that The Vampire Diaries has long been one of the most inventive and successful when it comes to using social media, saying they're not just generating traffic spikes, but creating week-long engagement. "We did a study on [TVD] and found that a lot of their conversation is happening in between episodes. They're not dropping off after the episode airs. You see [The CW] sharing pictures and sneak peeks on Facebook, which builds anticipation and keeps their fans engaged throughout the whole season."

And The Vampire Diaries isn't TV's only social climber, according to Elrhoul, MTV's Catfish is making a serious online impact in its freshman season. But will it crack the Top 10 in 2013? Check out 2012's current leaderboard:

Seth Rogen & Paul Rudd Get Creative Juices Stiffled in Samsung Super Bowl Ad

Some advertisers are trotting out teasers this week for commercials they'll pay millions to air during this Sunday's Super Bowl. We've got a sneak peek of a Samsung ad that attempts to tap into the creative talents of Seth Rogen and Paul Rudd, but the two actors get censored due to rules that prohibit the use of "Super Bowl" and the team names!

Mr. Show's Bob Odenkirk also appears in the ad -- which features the company's Galaxy family of products -- as the one soliciting the actors' creative ideas for the perfect Super Bowl spot. But when the creative juices get flowing, Rogen and Rudd are stopped dead in their tracks before they can utter the forbidden terms.

PICS: Star Sightings

"You can't say the name of the game," Odenkirk snaps, citing rules limited the use of copyrighted terms in a Super Bowl commercial. So how do they refer to one of the biggest sporting events ever held? "The Big Game," Odenkirk suggests, or perhaps with Spanish flair, "El Plato Supremo."

Watch the teaser to also her Rogen creatively suggest how to reference the San Francisco 49ers by inventing the title "the 50 minus 1ers."

The competition on Rachael vs. Guy: Celebrity Cook-Off is heating up, and in this exclusive clip from the hit Food Network show, Sister Act star Kathy Najimy is definitely feeling the pressure -- and possibly succumbs to it.

Natalie Zea Talks The Following

Last week The Following terrified over 10 million viewers with its pilot episode, but you best believe me when I say that you ain't seen nothing yet!

Not only does tonight's second episode begin to shine a light on my favorite storyline, but it deepens every character's backstory and reveals previously unseen connections. Like with Claire Matthews and Ryan Hardy, whose hinted at history comes into full view over the next two episodes as Claire continues to fret over her abducted son while avoiding all dark corners.

Earlier this month, I caught up with Natalie Zea to talk about her attraction to Claire and The Following at The Television Critics Association Press Tour.

ETonline: When you read this script, what made you want to play Claire?

Natalie Zea: I have to say it was less about the character and more about the script as a whole. I was so confused by what I was reading; was it a film script, a pilot script or episode 207 of some amazing TV show? Kevin Williamson was able to avoid the trap that so many writers fall in of setting up characters and the world; he was able to make sure we knew all that information without it being predictable. As a reader, it's so refreshing to be kept so on your toes. I couldn't quite figure it out, which is what anyone who has read 15 million pilot scripts, like I have, wants to see. Make me question everything that's going on.

VIDEO - Inside The Following

ETonline: The next few episodes see Claire stressing about her son's abduction -- did any part of you yearn for more to do up front, or did you feel like it was all working towards something greater?

Zea: All that is very intentionally prolonged. The brilliance of it is that the audience will feel the frustration just as much, so when we all collectively -- the actress, the audience, the character -- decide that enough is enough, it's earned. It's hard to play and challenging, but I don't dig ditches for a living, so ...

ETonline: And sometimes you make out with Kevin Bacon, so...

Zea: With Ren from Footloose...

ETonline: Did you have that moment of "I'm kissing Ren" with those flashbacks?

Zea: Oh yeah. I had a giggle fit ... not in his presence because I'm able to keep it together and we had become so friendly throughout the course of preparing to shoot. It wasn't like other projects where "Nice to meet you, take your top off" happens on day one. But we'd known each other for months, so I was kind of surprised by my reaction.

RELATED - How Scream 3 Became The Following

ETonline: This is the most terrifying show I've ever seen -- are you good with scary stuff?

Zea: Yeah. It doesn't stay with me. I don't know if that means there's something wrong with me, but I'm able to separate pretty well. I tend to get more caught up in relationship dramas. I get really attached to those worlds and those characters, whether I'm playing them or watching them. Like, I've gotten sucked into many episodes of Breaking Bad or Mad Men. As a TV actor, all you want is to be on a show that makes people call into work sick so they can stay home and watch. That's the sign of a good show.

ETonline: Is there anything about the scripts that click with audiences that stands out to you in the script reading phase?

Zea: Oh God, I have no idea what makes people watch what they do. My taste is starting to line up with the public's much more now, but there was a time when any show I watched was canceled two episodes in. I was such a show killer. But, it's pure luck. There have been no scripts that I've read and gone after because "It's the one." Instead, I'm going after scripts because of a role, or I find it compelling, or the synergy works well. I never try to pick a hit because I'm the worst to ask.

RELATED - 2013's 6 Best New Shows

ETonline: Looking ahead, what are you excited for people to see this season with The Following?

Zea: I'm excited for them to be proven wrong. I think a lot of people are going in with expectations that are, not bad, but wrong. I did it too -- I assumed this show would be about one thing and have been proven wrong time and time again. The reality of what they're going to get is so much better. If you can surprise people, and turn the tables on them ... that's really cool.

The Following
airs Mondays at 9 p.m. on Fox.

Exclusive: JJ Abrams Confirms Bradley Cooper in Talks For Lance Armstrong Biopic

Shortly after Bradley Cooper expressed interest (publicly) in portraying disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong in J.J. Abrams'upcoming biopic about the athlete, the producer/director confirmed to ET exclusively that he is indeed in talks with Cooper for the role.

Pics: Stars Take On Real-Life Roles

When asked about Cooper's interest in tackling the part backstage at the Producers Guild Awards in Los Angeles, Abrams told ET's Christina McLarty "[Cooper] sent me an email and we've been talking."

Said Cooper to BBC News on January 22, "I would be interested in [playing Armstrong]. I think he's fascinating. What a fascinating character."

Paramount Pictures & Bad Robot (J.J. Abram's production company) secured the rights to Cycle of Lies: The Fall of Lance Armstrong, a book proposal penned by Juliet Macur, in mid-January just after Armstrong admitted publicly to doping during all seven Tour de France wins. The author, a sports reporter from The New York Times, has covered the athlete over the span of a decade throughout Armstrong's struggle with cancer, years of doping allegations and ensuing lawsuits.

What had ET readers buzzing this week?

1. First Clip: Ashton Kutcher Becomes 'JOBS'

Ashton Kutcher takes on the role of a lifetime in JOBS, and we have your first look at the movie.

In the clip, Jobs (played by Ashton Kutcher) is raving about the operating system that Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak (played by Josh Gad) created. While Jobs is certain that this will become a ubiquitous product for mass consumption, Wozniak needs convincing.

"Nobody wants to buy a computer," says Wozniak.

"How does somebody know what they want if they've never even seen it?" Jobs replies.

Steve Jobs lost his battle with pancreatic cancer at the age of 56 in October 2011 and as April 2013 marks the 37th anniversary of the founding of the Apple Computer Company, Open Road Films has decided to release JOBS on April 19.

Directed by Joshua Michael Stern, written by Matthew Whitely, shot by Oscar-winning cinematographer Russell Carpenter and produced by Mark Hulme, JOBS details the major moments and defining characters that influenced Steve Jobs on a daily basis from 1971 through 2001, according to a press release.

Like Jennifer Lopez, Gisele Bundchen, Beyonce, Jessica Biel, Julianne Moore, Scarlett Johansson, Olivia Wilde and countless other A-Lister ladies before her, Taylor Swift is now starring in Disney Parks ad where she brings to life one of the Mouse House's most memorable characters for their ongoing Disney Dream Portrait campaign.

Slipping into Rapunzel's shoes (errrr, hair extensions) for this "Where A World of Adventure Awaits" spot was a dream come true for the Grammy winner. "When Disney came to me and said we want you to play Rapunzel, I was just so honored," Swift said. "It's such a wonderful character to get to play, a childhood fantasy come into reality for me."

Turns out, the gig couldn't have been a better fit because Swift got her start singing Disney songs! "My parents realized I was really obsessed with [singing] when I'd go up to strangers and sing Lion King songs," Swift laughs. "I think about all the times me and my little brother went to Disney World and we were able to escape to that place anytime we had a hard time. Any time you're going through something rough, you can go back into your imagination and you're at Disney World."

5. Leo DiCaprio Taking a 'Long Break' From Acting

Unless something was lost in translation, Leonardo DiCaprio has revealed to a German publication that he will be taking a hiatus from acting.

The 38-year-old A-lister told Germany's daily Bild (via Deadline), "I am a bit drained. I'm now going to take a long, long break. I've done three films in two years and I'm just worn out."

DiCaprio's Django Unchained just came out this past month and he also has The Great Gatsby hitting theaters this year (May 10th) as well as The Wolf of Wall Street. So, what does DiCaprio plan to do with his free time? "I would like to improve the world a bit. I will fly around the world doing good for the environment."

The actor added, "My roof is covered with solar panels. My car is electric. A normal person does not drive more than 50 kilometers (31 miles) a day. That can be done with a plug."

Kat Graham Vampire Diaries Season Four Interview

This has been an interesting season of The Vampire Diaries for Bonnie Bennett, who, despite factoring into the overall year-long mystery of finding the cure for vampirism, has been segregated from the main characters as she works on harnessing her magic.

But according to Kat Graham, Bonnie is about to come into focus in a big way as she not only regains full control over her powers, but could potentially use them for with potentially polarizing effects!

ETonline: Hey Kat, how's it going?

Kat Graham: Good, I'm driving from Cleveland, Ohio to Detroit to visit some radio stations and meeting a few fans, hanging out with some locals.

ETonline: Congrats on the Wanna Say music video? You look amazing in it!

Graham: Thank you so much! That means a lot coming from you, because you remember my terrible videos [laughs]. We won't talk about those, but I'm really proud of this. From the director to the choreography to the track, I think everyone did a killer job!

RELATED - 12 Best TV Shows of 2012

ETonline: Logistically, how did you work on the song and the video while shooting The Vampire Diaries?

Graham: It just kind of works. The show doesn't go around my music schedule -- I don't even ask to get cleared most of the time because the show has such a grueling schedule. But, I'm actually not in episode 416, the episode they're shooting now, and they had scheduled to release the video on January 18, and I wrapped on January 17 by coincidence. Sheer blessing, total fate.

ETonline: I feel like Bonnie's had a lighter workload this season; did that help at all?

Graham: You know what’s funny, we're on episode 17, and for me, it might have been light in the beginning, but this episode [off] has been a godsend. I haven't had any days off in forever -- it gets really Bonnie heavy this season, and you'll see some crazy, crazy Bonnie stuff. I always tell Julie [Plec, executive producer], you have to write what you're inspired to write. I think she's got a better hold on the show than anyone and she's been very inspired to write all this incredible stuff recently -- and it shows. This show can't be forced, it's so smooth and there's such huge storylines coming up.

RELATED - How Kevin Williamson's abandoned Scream 3 Script Became The Following

ETonline: And Bonnie's dad is now the Mayor!

Graham: It's funny, the fans have no problem writing Julie or me or Mark Pedowitz [president of The CW] to let us know what they see for the character [laughs]. They are not shy with their opinions and they've always wanted to see Bonnie's dad. So it's been really cool ... I think I'm the only character on the show with both her parents still alive! Who'd have thought that!

ETonline: Yeah, well, she might not be for long; I feel like being the mayor of Mystic Falls is one of the most dangerous jobs in television!

Graham: Yeah, but Julie can break her own rules. When people start to think they're figuring out The Vampire Diaries, it switches on you. Caroline Dries [a TVD writer] said something pretty amazing to me -- she said, if we give the audience everything they want, they won't watch the show because there will be nothing for them to wait for. You can get them excited about something they really want by giving them a bit of it. So you almost don't want to give the audience everything they want, and I love that the audience can't figure us out. They don't know how grand the show is going to get this season. I mean, it's huge, epic episodes every week.

ETonline: Would you say that all the lessons with Professor Shane are leading to a revelation for Bonnie?

Graham: Oh yeah. Big time. One thing about Vampire Diaries is they plant these seeds that sometimes we as actors don't even know about ... by the end of this season, who Bonnie becomes, has everything to do with all those scenes in Shane's office. He has a huge impact on who she becomes. It's important to pay close attention and not miss an episode. The lines get blurred and allegiances get blurred. You have all these paradoxes and total opposites working together for the benefit of a common goal.

ETonline: Looking ahead, what are you excited for the fans to see with Bonnie this season?

Graham: So much crazy Bonnie stuff is coming up. I'm excited that, if Bonnie makes any turn as to who she is and what she's about, I'm excited to know that a lot of fans will come with her. I'm excited for them to grow with Bonnie and excited for them to see what Bonnie can do. For so long, this was a character who was never at her full power. She was always losing it and then getting some of it back ... she's struggled with finding herself as a witch and finding herself in her power. So I'm excited for the fans to see all the cool stuff this character is capable of once she really gets a grasp on that power and finds out what she's really capable of.

After remaining mum on the subject for six months (not difficult considering he's been serving his country in Afghanistan), Prince Harry seriously addressed the subject of his nude photo scandal from August, telling various news outlets, "I let my family down."

"I probably let myself down, I let my family down, I let other people down,” he admitted to journalists as he sat on a parked Apache helicopter in Afghanistan during a recent series of rare interviews.

But "at the end of the day," he added, "I was in a private area and there should be a certain amount of privacy." A sentiment echoed by the city of Las Vegas, who used Harry's hotel room romp to underscore its motto -- What Happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas -- in a series of subsequent ads.

For the always-candid Prince, that was yet another example of the press crossing the line when it comes to his family's privacy. "The newspapers knew that I was going away to Afghanistan, yet still published the photos," he said. "So the way I was treated by them I don't think is acceptable."

Same goes for all the hubbub surrounding William and Kate's baby news. "I think it's very unfair that they were forced to publicize it when they were, but that's just the media for you,” he said about no outlet in particular.

It should come as no surprise that there is no love lost between Harry and the press given his mother's tragic passing in 1997, when an aggressive paparazzo caused her death. When asked how far back the mistrust goes, the prince said: "I think it's fairly obvious how far back it goes, it's when I was very small."

While the interview hit somber patches, there were moments of levity as well, like when Harry was asked one thing he loved about being stationed overseas. "It's a chance to be away from you guys," he laughed.

Manti Teo ESPN Interview on Lennay Kekua

Given the worldwide attention given to Manti Te'o and his fake girlfriend, Lennay Kekua, since it was inevitable the football star would break his silence sooner rather than later. Last night, Te'o sat down for an off-camera interview with ESPN's Jeremy Schaap, where he admitted to lyng about actually meeting Kekua because he believed his friends, family and coaches would think he was "crazy" for engaging in an intense relationship with someone he'd never met. But, throughout the interview, Te'o maintains he was not complicit in perpetuating the story for personal gain.

"I wasn't faking it. I wasn't part of this," Te'o tells ESPN's Jeremy Schapp, insisting he was duped by the online hoax, now commonly referred to as "Catifshing," thanks to the documentary and MTV show of the same name.

"She friend requested me on Facebook the winter of my freshman year at Notre Dame," Te'o explains. "We spoke on the phone. We spoke on the phone and talked on the phone, texted. But it's always as acquaintances, as friends. And then she contacted me that Purdue game and she just said 'Hey, how are you doing? I'm going through some hard times with my boyfriend' -- at the time she had a boyfriend at the time. And just want you to be there for me, just be my friend. I said sure, I'll be here for you."

Te'o clarifies that the duration of the relationship has been widely misreported, saying that their were large chunks of time they went without speaking throughout the four year period in question.

Then, during Te'o's junior year at Notre Dame, Kekua (who is now believed to be a man named Ronaiah Tuiasosopo and at least one female accomplice) reconnected with him. "We spoke on the phone. We spoke on the phone and talked on the phone, texted. But it's always as acquaintances, as friends ... And eventually we just kept talking and kept talking and kept talking. Everything kind of changed a little when her dad passed away. She told me her dad passed away, and I was there. I was just being that shoulder to cry on ... And so our relationship kind of took another level. But not the kind of exclusive level yet. I was trying to get to know her and get to know a whole bunch of other people. And for that period of time we talked and talked and got to know each other better and better and better. And everything changed April 28th. I got a phone call from her brother that she had got in the car accident."

Te'o says that Kekua's brother acted as an intermediary between them throughout her hospitalization. "I would ask to talk to her, and the only communication I had was through her brother and he used her phone," Te'o says. "He would put me supposedly right next to her mouth and I could hear the ventilator going. And she would be breathing ... They were telling me, 'Bro, she recognized your voice. We know she's there. We know she can hear you.' She would quicken her voice. And I heard it on the phone. They would do it to me. And so that was my communication while she was in a coma."

When asked by Schaap why Te'o didn't think to visit her, he says, "It never really crossed my mind. I don't know. I was in school. I was finishing up my year and I was going home. It was towards the end of my junior year. End of my junior year, and I was about to go home. When I decided to go home, the day that I decided to -- the day I left to go home -- they called me and said that that was the same day that they were going to pull the plug. And so it intensifies the whole thing. I'm on the plane. I figured they're about to pull the plug on someone ... All my focus went just to her, in caring for her. Making sure she was OK. Whenever you feel that you're about to lose somebody, you know, reality kicks in, and it's like, okay, I'm going to be here for her, take care of her. And so my focus turned straight to Lennay."

Te'o not only recounts pieces of the elaborate backstory he was fed, but also explains there was a seemingly endless array of photos; all of which convinced him Kekua was real.

Then, in early July, Te'o is told that Keuka has leukemia, which only intensifies his feelings for her. Throughout her treatment, Te'o constantly spoke to Keuka via phonecalls and online chats. Then, on September 12, Te'o's parents called to say his grandmother had passed away, hours later, Keuka called. "I had already found out that grandma is dead. I was angry. I didn't want to be bothered. So Lennay was just trying to be there for me. I just -- I just wanted my own space. We got in an argument. She was saying, you know, I'm trying to be here for you. I didn't want to be bothered. I wanted to be left alone. I just wanted to be by myself."

"Later that day I get a text message from her brother, just saying 'Bro. That was it.' I wondered why her brother was contacting me. Couple minutes later, I get the call from her brother. He's telling me, he's crying, screaming, and he's just telling me, 'She's gone! She's gone!' He's mumbling, 'She's gone, she's gone, bro', she's gone.' And I'm sitting there wondering who is gone? Why is he telling me that somebody's gone. Lennay's supposed to get home on September 11th, the day before. She was fine, you know? She was going home, she was fine. People were saying that she's getting better. I get a phone call that she's gone. They tell me Lennay's gone."

"I dropped the phone. I walk around the corner to get to the hall way where nobody is... I started crying and crying, punching the wall." Te'o adds, "Looking back on it now? I don't know. I really don't know. One, to lie about it, and two, to coordinate this death on the same day that I lost my grandmother, I don't know."

For those who believed Te'o created this entire scenario to garner sympathy in a big to win The Heisman Trophy, their biggest piece of evidence is that Te'o didn't attend Keuka's funeral. He tells ESPN the reason he didn't go was because her funeral fell on the same day as a big game. "Before Lennay passed away, we had a conversation where she asked me if she passed away, if I could go to her funeral? I told her no, I'm not going to talk like that. I'm not going to talk like that. She said tell me this, if anything happens, promise me that you'll send me white roses and say you'll play. She said all I want is white roses. And leading up to the funeral, her siblings kept telling me that their mom told them she didn't want me to come. They didn't want -- and I didn't want myself -- I didn't want that to be the first time that I saw her was lying in a coffin. That's why I didn't go."

Months pass, and Te'o begins dating a girl named Alex del Pilar. Then, on December 6, he gets a phonecall from Lennay's sister U'i. "She said, 'Hey, I've got to tell you something that's very important.' So she goes through this whole spiel how my family's involved with drugs and like bad people. And we have to hide and make sure that everybody's -- she's giving me this background about their life. She just basically said I think you know. And I said what do you mean? I don't know anything. She said, well, Manti, it's me. That's all she said."

"I eventually just gave up and said, who is me? And she said, it's Lennay. So we carried on that conversation, and I just got mad. I just went on a rampage. How could you do this to me? I ended that conversation by saying, simply this: You know what, Lennay, my Lennay died on September 12. I don't know who you are, but Lennay died on September 12th and that conversation ended."

Another fact detractors point to as evidence Te'o was complicit in the lie is that he continued to talk about Lennay in subsequent interviews as if she were real. Te'o cites his initial confusion as the reason behind those incidents.

Since then, Te'o has continued to speak with U'i and Ronaiah in a quest to find out the truth. However, once the story broke, Te'o says his been contacted by several people who were similarly duped by the duo. "Multiple people that he's done it to me contacted me ... and said hey, he's done the same thing to me with the same girl, with the same story. And if you need any help, I'm here."

Te'o, for one, is hoping this saga comes to a close much faster than I believe it will. As for what he'd like to see happen to his hoaxers, Te'o says, "To be honest with you, it doesn't seem real. I hope he learns. I hope he understands what he's done. I don't wish an ill thing to somebody. I just hope he learns. I think embarrassment is big enough."

Amanda Seyfried 'Lovelace' Clip

A brunette and freckled Amanda Seyfried portrays notorious '70s adult film star Linda Lovelace in an upcoming biopic, and we have an exclusive clip from the movie featuring one of her early photo shoots…

Pics: First Look at Amanda Seyfried as Porn Star Lovelace

In ETonline's Lovelace clip, Linda sits down for the photo shoot in a revealing bathing suit. The photographer (played by Wes Bentley) asks her to describe the person she's playing, and as she talks, her inhibitions seem to melt away as she opens up just like the flower she's describing.

Set against the sexual revolution of the 1970s, Lovelace tracks the rise of the legendary Deep Throat star. To the public, she was an enthusiastic spokesperson for sexual freedom and uninhibited hedonism. But behind closed doors, she was used and abused by the porn industry at the hands of her coercive husband, Chuck Traynor (played by Peter Sarsgaard). In time, she learned to take control of her life, and soon changed her tune to reveal that she was actually the survivor of a far darker story.
